Frequently asked questions
Not yet as a dedicated module. It's on the roadmap for next phases. As a workaround, use 'control note' templates that accept structured measurements (pocket depth, bleeding, plaque).
Any equipment that exports standard DICOM (DICM magic): Carestream, Planmeca, Sirona, Vatech, Newtom, etc. We validate SeriesInstanceUID and slice dimensions on import.
Not in the current version. DICOM Viewer uses Stack Viewport (1 slice at a time, scroll to navigate). MPR and Volume Rendering are on the roadmap, depends on an open issue in Cornerstone3D v4.
Immutable by default. Once saved, can't be edited, only a new note with reference to the previous one is allowed. Only super-admin can mark a note as invalid (with logged reason and timestamp). Per LGPD and Ley 20.584 (CL).
No. The system is multi-tenant cloud · requires connection. In return: automatic backup, multi-device sync, zero risk of losing chart from a dead drive.
Yes. Responsive PWA. The tooth chart has zoom and touch gestures optimized. DICOM Viewer works with pinch-to-zoom and pan on tablet.
Yes. We have 12 import adapters (patient, schedule, plan, receivable, notes, tooth chart, etc.). Legal immutability is preserved · imported notes keep original date and are flagged as migrated.
